Privacy Policy

Chamdom Shorts ("the application") is a self-hosted tool operated privately by the owner of the YouTube channels it publishes to. It has no public sign-up and no users other than the operator. This policy describes how the application handles data obtained through Google APIs.

1. Data the application accesses

The application requests a single OAuth scope, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload. It is used only to upload a video file to the YouTube channel of the account that granted authorization.

The application does not read or store viewer data, analytics, subscriber lists, comments, email addresses, contacts, or any Google account profile information.

2. How the data is used

Tokens are used exclusively to authenticate upload requests to the YouTube Data API. They are not used for any other API, service, or purpose.

3. Sharing

Google user data is not shared, sold, rented, or transferred to any third party. It is not used for advertising, for building user profiles, for credit or lending purposes, or to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. No human other than the operator reads it.

4. Storage and protection

Tokens are stored encrypted at rest on a private server controlled by the operator.
The server is not publicly reachable for administration; management interfaces are restricted to a private network.
Only the operator has access to the server and to the stored credentials.

5. Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept only while the automation is in active use.
When a channel is retired, or on request, the stored credential is deleted from the server immediately.
Revoking access in your Google Account (see below) renders the stored token unusable; the application then deletes it.

6. Revoking access

You can review and revoke this application's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation takes effect immediately and stops all further uploads.

7. YouTube API Services

The application uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above is updated and the revised policy is published at this same URL.
