Chamdom Shorts

A private publishing tool for our own short-form video channels.

What it does

Chamdom Shorts is a self-hosted automation tool that prepares short-form videos and publishes them to YouTube channels that we own and operate. It runs on our own server. It is not a consumer product, it has no sign-up, and it is not offered to third parties.

The workflow is:

A script and narration are drafted for a planned topic.
The video file is assembled on our server.
The finished file is uploaded to one of our own YouTube channels, with its title, description, and tags.

Why it asks for YouTube access

Requested scope

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload

This is the only scope the application requests. It is used solely to call the YouTube Data API videos.insert endpoint so that a video file we produced can be uploaded to the authorizing channel. The application does not read, modify, or delete existing videos, playlists, comments, subscriptions, or channel settings.

The only accounts that ever authorize this application are the Google accounts that own our channels. Authorization is performed manually by the channel owner.

What it does not do

It does not upload on behalf of anyone other than the account holder who authorized it.
It does not read channel analytics, subscriber lists, or viewer data.
It does not share, sell, or transfer Google user data to any third party.
It does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or model training.
